Well to start off, When I first started in saving and doing great in school I get kicked in the butt with Mono which is transfered by saliva when you share food drinks or by kissing. I just started saving for fun and then this hit me. It consumed all of my energy and money. I am still out of work but will be going back May 20, 2008. I went back to school but I am having a great deal of difficulty in catching up. luckily I have reliable friends to help me as much as the possibly can. I owe my parents money, and i need to get a lot of late birthday and one Christmas gift for my sister. I'll start by paying back my depth and then move on to saving for my trip to Florida.. I want to by souvenirs for my close friends as they've done for me. In the same time, I will save up for my upcoming semester in college to be able to pay for my classes and buy the supplies/books necessary.

Mono kicked my butt big time when I was just 18. IT can be financially devastating and really put a screw in your plans. I actually took 5 years to finish college, much because of mono. I was just glad to live though. I really thought I Was going to die. Can be pretty nasty. The doctors all said it would be okay, but I remember not being quite so convinced at the time.
So, glad you are feeling better!
